I wish to know how do you go about these commissioned pieces? Do you paint from life? Do sketches and use your knowledge to construct it or use photo references?
I am asking this question because I am learning on my own and trying to improve my work everyday. I want to train myself on painting full scale portraits as well. So, your comments will be extremely valuable to me.
